Here it is, my first post! I feel a little slow at finally getting around to having a blog, but I finally caught up!
What a great weekend we had! Our church recently started a young couples group, and for our main activity, we went to Sight and Sound in Lancaster, PA to see Ruth! What an excellent show. Of course my eyes would not stop leaking! I definitely would recommend that place to anyone. Their shows are so amazing! And of course we had to go shopping at the outlets. One outfit for me, I was rather impressed with myself! No yarn stores in sight, and since we went up as a group, I coudn’t really force that on anyone!
The car ride was rather long, so I did get in some knitting on my first sock. It’s just a basic pattern found here, in Knit Picks Simple Stripes Vineyard (although it appears they don’t sell that color anymore). I’m not sure I like how the toe looks with the sock off, but it looks great once it’s on.
