Another post from the once a month blogger. Plenty of interesting stuff goes on, so it’s not for lack of stories, it’s more a lack of time! So here’s the latest updates!
Pregnancy Stats:
19 weeks and 1 day along
Last weeks weigh in – 4 lb total gain
Blood pressure 90 / 60
Baby’s heartrate – about 160
Everything is looking good! I’m feeling great, and I’ve got a nice little pouch on me now, although there won’t be any pictures of that on here!
We went to the Sheep and Wool Festival last weekend, so much fun, and can you believe I didn’t buy a thing! Now that’s willpower! Actually, I’m realizing that I have tons of projects to do, so there’s no need for the materials for new ones. Oh, and a word of advice, lamb sausage and pregnancy don’t go together. It’s not that I puked, but I gagged, and gagged and gagged. Whew, that was rough! Not doing that again!
On the knitting front, the back of Sheep Sweater is about 1/2 way done, very slow going with this fair isle stuff. I’m on the fence now (no, not about finishing it, but literally on the fence on the sweater!) Here’s a picture for reference. It’s hard to see in the picture, but there are rows of slipped stitches with k3 in between and then you pick up that bar that was created two rows later with another lighter color. Little tricky at first, and somewhat time consuming, so that’s what made it slow going. I’m making the 18 month size, hoping the baby will fit in it longer. I can’t imagine knitting something like this for a newborn who will grow right out of it!!
