The first round of peppers is off the plants and they are huge!! Each year we grow peppers to can in various ways. Since it’s so unbelievably hot outside today, it was a great day to stay inside and can. And with our nice Christmas present from my brother (a huge turkey / oyster / crab cooker) we did the boil bath outside…to keep the house nice and cool.
With the first batch we got 1.5 pints of pickled jalapeños…yum! and 4 pints of “Annie’s Peppers”, Bear’s tried and true recipe.
I just finished baking some Marshmallow Brownies.
